Most people start here. Sit back on the sofa with the disc either side of the spine and let the warmth do its work.

Start gentle on the neck. The disc is small enough for the top of the shoulder and between the shoulder blades.
Moxibustion has warmed specific points on the body for centuries. We kept the warmth and left out the smoke: an electric plate holds a set temperature at the skin, and keeps holding it until the session ends.

No. The warmth comes from an electric plate. Nothing burns and nothing is absorbed by the skin.
Between 40 and 47 °C at the skin, in three levels. It can never go above 50 °C.
